Bardolino DOC
Organoleptic characteristics
A light ruby red wine with violet hues that may become garnet with age. The aroma is vinous with characteristic notes of cherry, small red fruits, and light spicy notes reminiscent of cinnamon. On the palate it is dry, savoury and mineral, with bitter aftertaste and a marked acidity that gives a pleasant freshness.
Wine Pairing
It is an easy-drinking, fresh and light wine for the whole meal, which goes especially well with meat, cheese and soups.
Vinification
A traditional red wine with short maceration, where contact with the grape skins lasts no longer than 6/7 days.
Vineyards
This wine is the result of a blend of grapes from vineyards located in the plain of Caprino, which give the wine suppleness and lightness, with others located in the hills of Caprino at an altitude of no less than 450 metres, which give the wine structure and character. The cultivation method is the Pergola Trentina and the Pergola Trentina Semplice.
